How to Add AOL Email Account To Outlook 2016 Using IMAP Settings?

Go to the Outgoing Server Tab.
Click on the box towards the left of My outgoing server or SMTP requires authentication.
In the Internet Email Settings window, click on the radio button adjacent to Use the same settings as my incoming email server.
Click on the Advanced tab in the Internet Email Settings Window.
Check the following:
IMAP or Incoming server: 143 or 993
SMTP or outgoing server: 587
Incoming server encrypted connection: SSL
Outgoing server encrypted connection TLS.
Click on the OK button after verifying the above.
Click on Next.
If all the details have been filled in correctly, then both of the testing tasks will get finished successfully.
Close the window and click on Next.
Wait till you get the “You are all set!” message on the screen.
Click on Finish.
Now you can check your AOL emails and also subscribe to IMAP mailbox folders via Outlook 2016.
